What FundWatch.ie is for.

Most fund information you'll find in Ireland is either written by the providers themselves, or by advisers who earn commission for recommending particular products. Both have their place, but neither is independent. FundWatch.ie is a third option: a flat, data-first comparison of every major fund available to Irish savers, with the same metrics for all of them, and no-one paying for placement.

Methodology

Every fund in our database is listed against the same set of attributes: provider, fund type (Pension, PRSA or Investment), SRRI risk rating (1–7), asset mix (equity / bond / other), annual management charge (AMC), 5-year and 10-year annualised return net of AMC, fund size and ESG classification.

Data sources

• Fund factsheets and Key Information Documents published by each provider
• Monthly fund updates from the Irish Association of Investment Managers (IAIM)
• ECB and CSO data for context
• Each figure on the site is refreshed on a daily or monthly cadence depending on the source

What we don't do

• We don't accept payment from fund providers to list, rank or promote their funds
• We don't provide personal financial advice — this site is information, not guidance
• We don't cherry-pick time periods to make a provider's numbers look flattering
